Diagnostics menu (not available on all user interfaces)
The menus depend on the installed user interface and the
installed system.
Function test
CAUTION: risk of scalding if cylinder
temperature limiter deactivated during the
function test!
▶ Close all DHW draw-off points.
▶ Inform occupants of the premises of the
risk of scalding.
If a solar module is installed, the menu Function test or Solar
is displayed in the DHW menu.
This menu can be used to test the pumps, mixing valves and
valves of the system. They are tested by setting various setting
values. You can check whether the mixing valve, pump or valve
responds appropriately by inspecting the behaviour of the
corresponding component.
Pumps, e.g. solar pump:
Setting range: Off or Min. speed sol circ pump ... 100 %
•
Off: The pump does not run and is switched off.
•
Min. speed sol circ pump, e.g. 40 %: The pump runs at
40 % of the maximum speed.
•
100 %: The pump runs at maximum speed.

Function description
The circulation can be switched on for three minutes via a short draw-off impulse.
The entire DHW volume is automatically heated up daily at the same time to 60 °C.
Start time for daily heat-up.
If the freshwater system develops a fault, the output is activated for a fault display. Only a
3-core 3-way valve can be connected to terminal VS1, PS2, PS3 when the fault display is
active.
If the freshwater system develops a fault, the output is not activated for a fault display
(always de-energised).
The fault display is activated, but the inverted signal is output. This means that the output
is energised and is de-energised with a fault display. Only a 3-core 3-way valve can be
connected to terminal VS1, PS2, PS3 when the fault display is active.
Activation of keep hot function. If the freshwater system is far from the buffer cylinder, it
can be kept hot by circulation.
Monitored values
If a solar module is installed, the menu Monitored values or
Solar is displayed in the DHW menu.
This menu allows you to call up information on the current
status of the system. For example, the system can display
whether the maximum cylinder temperature or the maximum
collector temperature has been reached.
Further, important information can also be displayed in
addition to the temperatures. The menu item Status shows the
status of the component relevant to the function, for example,
under the solar pump or Therm. disinfection pump menu
items.
•
TestMod: Manual mode active.
•
AntBProt: Anti-seizing function – pump/valve is briefly
switched on at regular intervals.
•
NoHeat: No solar energy/heat available.
•
Heat pres.: Solar energy/heat available.
•
No req.: No heat requirement.
•
Sys.Off: System not activated.
•
Heat.Req: Heat requirement exists.
•
S.Prot: Scalding protection active.
•
Keeph.: Keep hot active.
•
Off: No heat requirement.
•
DHW: DHW is drawn off.
