Safety and warning instructions

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Prior to operating the a/c unit check that the power source is compliant with the specifications

Prior to cleaning or maintaining the air conditioner, please make sure the unit is initially turned

off and disconnected from the mains.
Please ensure that the power cord is not damaged/ soiled by heavy or hard objects

Do not pull or drag the power cord or use any force for unplugging. The a/c should not be
■
forcefully moved for unplugging purposes, gently unplug the power cord by hand.
Be extra cautious while accessing the power cord, and never attempt with wet hands.

This unit must be grounded properly. Be certain the grounding is reliable.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
■
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
In the case of any abnormal behavior (e.g.. a burning smell), disconnect power intermediately

and contact your local dealer.
This appliance should not be left unattended. It should be powered off and unplugged from

the mains.
Do not splash or pour any water on this appliance, as this may cause a short circuit and may
■
damage your air conditioner.
If you are operating this unit with a drainage hose, the area temperature should not be lower
■
than 0c as this may cause water leakage.
Heating devices of any sort, should not be operating near the air conditioner.

Keep the a/c unit away from fire, explosive materials and flammable objects.
■
Keep children from playing or climbing on the air conditioner.
■
Do note place any dripping materials above the air conditioner.
■
Do not repair or disassemble the air conditioner by yourself.
■
Objects or materials of any sort, should not be inserted in this device.
