Safety notes for lithium batteries
The radio add-on modules are equipped with a lithium bat-
tery. This type of battery is classified as dangerous goods,
but meets the requirements of Special Provision 188 and
IATA-DGR PI 970 section II. Lithium batteries are safe
provided they are handled properly under the parameters
specified by the manufacturer.

Inspection documents for the batteries used are available
on request.
Handling of lithium batteries
• Store protected from moisture
• Do not heat above 100 °C or
throw into fire
• Do not short-circuit
Correct disposal of this product
For the purposes of disposal, the devices are waste elec-
trical and electronic equipment (WEEE) as defined by Eu-
ropean Directive 2012/19/EU and must not be disposed of
with household waste.
• Dispose of the device through the appropriate channels.
• Comply with local and currently valid legislation.
• Dispose of used batteries at a dedicated collection point.
