INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRIMING THE PUMP PRIOR TO USE
1) Place a small bucket under the spray nozzle to collect purged oil.
2) Plug Unit into standard 120-volt outlet.
3) Press the green power button on the side of the box. Allow unit to run for one minute and shut off.
Repeat this step three times.
4) With the bucket under the spray nozzle, again press the green power button on the side of the box.
Next, press and hold the black purge button. Oil will begin to flow from the spray nozzle.
5) Keep purge button depressed until only oil is fully flowing through the spray nozzle holes.
6) Keep purging the spray nozzle (steps 4,5) until at least 4 cups of oil have been removed, or a full
spray pattern is observed from the spray nozzle.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION
1) Connect PPO-500 power cord to an electrical outlet.
2) Prime the machine as described in steps 1-6 above.
3) Ensure both supply and return lines are submerged in Vegalube oil.
4) Place a round pizza pan in front of machine – sliding pan until it encounters the stop pins.
5) Pan will automatically be oiled by machine.
6) Remove pan and repeat as necessary.
7) To adjust spray size, raise or lower the nozzle height using the wingnuts on the front of the
machine.
NOTE: Oil distribution systems shall only circulate
Mallet Vegalube Oil throughout the system.
