CLEANING AND SANITATION PROCEDURES
FLUSHING PROCEDURE
1) Oil distribution system shall only circulate fresh Vegalube Oil supplied by Mallet.
2) If the system requires cleaning it should be flushed with clean Vegalube Oil.
3) Place the suction line into a bucket of clean oil. Place the return line into an empty bucket.
4) Turn the machine on and allow the machine to run for several minutes. The green start button will
need pressed every minute as the machine times-out.
5) With the suction line still in the bucket, place a container under the spray nozzle.
6) Press the black purge button and fill catch container. Note: the machine may require several pushes
of the green start button as the machine times out.
CLEANING NOZZLE PROCEDURE
1) Locate white spray nozzle.
2) Find the two hex nuts above and below the metal angle that the nozzle is attached to.
3) Use to adjustable or 1/2" wrenches to turn the nuts in opposite directions, loosening the two nuts.
4) Unscrew the white nozzle being sure to not strip the threads.
5) Soak the nozzle in hot water for about 5 minutes.
6) Use a very small paperclip to clean out any hole with residue.
7) Reattach the nozzle in proper place being sure not to strip the threads. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
8) Tighten the two thumb nuts, above and below metal angle, back into place.
