Operating Information
The 3D Magnets are ONLY compatible with the UHP 3D (CI-5316), the UHP 3D Plus
(CI-5318) and AquaMic 3D (CI-5317) headpieces and the HiRes Ultra 3D cochlear
implants (CI-1601). Instructions on how to change or replace the headpiece magnet
are provided in this booklet.
Magnet Strength
The five different configurations of the 3D Magnets offer different retention strength
based on the orientation of the magnet. Magnets can be flipped over should you
need the spacer closer or farther from the implant to make retention strength
stronger or weaker.
NOTE: If using the smallest strength 3D Magnet (one arrow), add the 3D Headpiece
Foam Spacer in the magnet well.
