2. For pumps N026.3.18:
Pull off the hose of the pneumatic connection at a pump
head.
3. Mark the position of the diaphragm head (C) with respect
to the housing (A) with a pencil mark.
4. Loosen the 4 Allen screws (B) and remove the diaphragm
head (C).
5. Loosen the countersunk screw (D).
6. Remove the retainer plate (E) and the diaphragm (F).
7. Loosen the 4 cheese head screws (G) and remove the
cover (H).
8. Turn the flywheel (I) until connecting rod (K) is in the cen-
ter position.
9. Put on the new diaphragm (F).
10. Place the retainer plate (E) on the diaphragm (F) and
tighten it with the new countersunk screw (D) (tightening
torque: 5.0 Nm).
The self-locking countersunk screw (D) can only be used
once.
11. Change the valve springs (M) and (P):

Loosen the Allen screws (S).
à
Lift off the cover (T) and the seal (V).
à
Loosen the nut (U) with a socket wrench.
à
Pull out the screw (W).
à
Remove the valve springs (P) and (M).
à
Fix the new valve springs (P) and (M) with the screw
(W), washer (X) and nut (U).
à
Put on the cover (T) with new seal (V).
à
Tighten the Allen screws (S).
12. Place the diaphragm head (C) in the installation position
marked with a pencil and tighten the Allen screws (B)
evenly crosswise (tightening torque: AN and AV version:
6.5 Nm; AT version: 5.5 Nm)
13. Check for smooth operation when turning the flywheel (J).
