USB Driver Installation Procedure
1. USB driver should automatically install on the PC when the VCI is connected to the PC with a USB cable. If USB
driver doesn't install automatically, continue with the following manual install steps.
2. Navigate to the PC Device Manager. Depending on your PC, the path may be:
Control Panel > System > Device Manager
3. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controller. Several devices should be listed.
4. Highlight "unknown device" and right-click. Select Properties.
5. Select the driver tab.
6. Select Update Driver.
7. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
8. Select Browse.
9. On a 32-bit PC, navigate to: C:\Program Files\MidRangeVCI-AftermarketJ2534\USB
On a 64-bit PC, navigate to: C:\Program Files(x86)\MidRangeVCI-AftermarketJ2534\USB
10. Click OK.
11. Click Next.
12. Click Finish to exit.
