Network Device
There are three types of network connections: USB, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
• USB Connection - If the USB cable is connected to the PC and VCI (with power to the VCI), the USB driver
will be automatically recognized. Typically, when a USB connection is chosen, setup to the VCI is not required.
Refer to the USB Driver Installation Procedure in the User Guide, if needed.
• Wii Connection - If WiFi connection is chosen, refer to the WiFi Network Setup in the User Guide. Testing
the USB connection before using the WiFi connection is recommended.
• Bluetooth - Refer to the Bluetooth Network setup in the User Guide for setup instructions.
WiFi Network Setup
IMPORTANT: When using WiFi, run the WiFi Setup Wizard first to transfer all settings to the VCI.
WiFi Setup Wizard
1. Connect the VCI to the PC via USB cable.
2. To open, double-click on the WiFi Setup Wizard desktop icon
3. A Welcome to the VCI WiFi Setup screen appears. Read to determine the appropriate setup method to use.
Follow steps A through H if using Wizard Assisted Setup;
or, follow steps I through K if using Advanced Mode Setup:
A. Click on Wizard Assisted Setup.
