Installation

Always use suitable lifting gear.

Do not clamp any transport equipment between the jaws.
▶
The lateral slots cannot be used as load handling attachments.

Mounting on the machine table

The vice can be affixed to the base plate using stepless adjustable clamps,
either on its side or on the front face.
Suitable fastenings or mounting plates must be used for this.
Caution with vertical installation:

Prerequisites for accurate clamping

The mounting surface of the vice and the machine table must be clean,

level and burr-free.
Remove factory-fitted corrosion protection.
▶
Oil the mounting surface of the vice.
▶
Align the vice via longitudinal and transverse slots 20 H7 in conjunction
▶
with suitable tenons.
Position the stepless adjustable clamps centrally below the jaws and

tighten securely.
