2. Pull out the outer rims at both ends of the hot air exhaust duct (15), so that the equipment can
be easily screwed together (Fig. 1).
3. Screw the mounting ring (17) on one end
of the duct (15). The three prongs on the
outer edge of the ring (17) must be on
the outside of the duct (Fig. 2). Screw the
mounting connector (16) on the other end
of the duct (15).
CAUTION! Carefully screw the elements together,
gradually increasing pressure so as not to damage
them. Screw the ring and the connector on the duct
by turning them at least three times.
4. Insert the mounting ring (17) together with the duct (15) into
the air outlet (11) and gently turn the ring counter-clockwise
(Fig. 3).
5. Put the air conditioner in place, providing at least 50 cm of free
space around the appliance (Fig. 4).
6. The external connector (16) at the other end of the duct (15)
should be mounted in the window using the included mount-
ing kit. You can use one of two types of mounting kits: for
hinged and sliding windows.
CAUTION! The hot air exhaust duct must not be kinked (avoid
bends over 45°). An excessively bent duct may lead to the fail-
ure of the air conditioner! Do not disconnect the hot air exhaust
duct when the appliance is in use.
CAUTION! The length of the hot air exhaust duct is between
280 mm and 1500 mm, according to the specifi cation of the air
conditioner. Do not extend the hot air exhaust duct or replace
it with other ducts because it might reduce the performance of
the air conditioner. The hot air exhaust must not be obstructed;
otherwise the air conditioner may overheat.
CAUTION! Do not tilt the appliance when pulling out the hot air
exhaust duct.
