2. Start the air conditioner by pressing POWER (3a). Use the MODE button to choose cooling so
that the COOL indicator (3f) comes on.
CAUTION! The air conditioner has a compressor protection feature which, depending on a number of factors,
allows it to be switched on with a short time delay (3 minutes).
3. Set the desired room temperature using the temperature down (3e) buttons. The tempera-
ture range is between 16 °C (60 °F) and 30 °C (86 °F) with a 1° increment. From this moment
on, the LED display will show the set temperature. If you set a temperature higher than the
current room temperature, the air conditioner will stop the cooling process and only the
fan will keep working. The compressor of the working air conditioner will switch on and off,
which is normal during correct operation.
4. You can select one of the three air fan speed levels with the SPEED button (3c). The current air
fan speed level selection is indicated with the respective LED coming on (3g):
LOW – low air supply flow
MID – moderate air supply flow
HIGH – high air supply flow
5. The air conditioner can dehumidify air. To use the dehumidifying mode, press and hold the
MODE selection button (3b) until the DRY indicator (3f) comes on. In the dehumidifying
mode, the airflow speed and temperature are adjusted automatically by the air conditioner
processor for the most efficient operation.
CAUTION! When using the dehumidifying function, you must connect the drain hose to the top water outlet!
(see WATER DRAINAGE METHODS).
CAUTION! When using the dehumidifying function, you must remove the hot air exhaust duct from the appli-
ance.
CAUTION! The dehumidifying function is perfect for drying clothes, but remember to place the item at least
1.5 m away from the appliance.
6. The air conditioner has an air fan mode. To use the fan mode, press and hold the MODE selec-
tion button (3b) until the FAN indicator (3f) comes on. In this mode, only the fan is working,
and the cooling systems are turned off. You can control the air supply flow – see Section 4.
7. The delayed start/stop function allows you to select the time when the air conditioner will
turn on or off. To set a delayed stop time, press the TIMER button (3d) and then use the time
down (3e) buttons to set the desired time which will be shown on the LED display. You can
set the time between 1 and 24 hours with a 1-hour increment. A moment after selecting the
time, the LED display will show the temperature again. Activation of the function is signalled
by the "Timer" indicator light.
Follow the same steps to set the delayed start time when the appliance is switched off.
CAUTION! When the delayed start function is set, the appliance will start working in the last used mode (cool-
ing, dehumidifying or fan).
8. The appliance has an outlet grille oscillation function (4), which makes it possible to increase
the space cooled by the air conditioner. The function is activated after pressing the but-
ton (14g) on the remote control, which is indicated by the message "Auto Swing" on the LCD
display on the remote control. The oscillation function is deactivated after pressing the (14g)
button again.
