Sterilization
In a properly functioning, calibrated autoclave
steam sterilizer, effective sterilization can be
achieved with the following parameters:

Visually inspect the bipolar cord before each
use for the following:
• Replace cord if there is any sign of deteriora-
tion such as broken insulation or frayed wires.
• Connectors are undamaged; connector pins
are not bent.
• If the cord does not comply with these
conditions or has any other problems that
might affect function, do not use the cord.
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation
to the device for the user and/or the patient
should be reported to the manufacturer and
the competent authority of the member state in
which the user and/or patient is established.
