Installing the Edge Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Wire edge guard
Procedure
Insert the ends of the wire edge guard into the holes in the trimmer
housing, as shown in Figure 7.

Adjusting the Handle Height
and Base Orientation
No Parts Required
Procedure
•
To adjust handle height, flip the auxiliary handle latch, slide it
up or down to the desired height, then secure it in place by
closing the latch (Figure 8).
1. Auxiliary handle
•
To adjust the orientation of the base, press down on the
rotator button located at the base of the shaft, then move the
base to face the desired direction (Figure 9).
