1. SAFETY WARNINGS
ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This
appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Unplug the power cord plug before taking out the water tank.
ො Do not insert any objects to the ventilation or exhaust opening for this may damage the
product and could cause and electrical shock or fire.
ො Do not operate your unit with a cover on it as this may result to overheat and motor
damage.
ො The plug must be removed from the electrical outlet when not in use and before mov-
ing, installing, uninstalling and cleaning.
ො Do not add any chemical or metal ingredients into the water tank. These materials are
dangerous and may cause problems.
ො Be careful not to expose infant and elder directly to the air cooler for a long time.
ො This appliance should be used under the rated voltage and frequency as indicated in
rating label.
ො Do not use your air cooler in or around water may cause electric shock and risk of fire.
ො Do not pull while the power is on. Always ensure that the plug is fully inserted into the
electrical outlet before operating.
ො Do not leave your unit under direct sunlight for a long time.
ො Before using the evaporative air cooler, always ensure that it contains water. Clean the
