When performing maintenance or cleaning on the spray
gun, set the ON/OFF switch to off position and unplug the
power cord.
Do not attempt to unclog or clean the tip by hand. Do not
use a needle or other sharp object to clean the spray tip. If
the spray pattern becomes distorted or stops completely
while the gun is triggered, follow these steps:
1. Lock the gun trigger;
2. Rotate the spray tip (7) 180° so that the arrow end is
pointing towards the back of the gun (cleaning position);
Under pressure, the spray tip may be difficult to rotate. Turn
"PRIME/SPRAY" lever (10) to "PRIME" position and pull
trigger. This will relieve the pressure and the spray tip will
rotate more easily.
3. Set the "PRIME/SPRAY" lever to the "SPRAY" position;
4. Unlock and press gun trigger, then aim the spray gun at
a piece of wood or cardboard. This allows pressure in the
spray hose to flush out the obstruction. When the spray
tip is clear, paint will come out in a straight, high-
pressure jet;
5. Release and lock the gun trigger;
6. Turn the nozzle 180°, to spray position.
When purging, remove the spray tip.
1. Unlock the gun trigger, set the "PRIME/SPRAY" lever to
the "PRIME" position (10);
2. Point the spray gun (6) towards an empty container and
pull the trigger;
3. While pressing the trigger, turn the ON/OFF switch to the
"I" position and set the "PRIME/SPRAY" lever to the
"SPRAY" position;
The paint sprayer will start sucking the liquid
through the suction tube. Allow it to run until the
same fluid comes out the spray gun.
4. Release the trigger, set the "PRIME/SPRAY" lever to the
"PRIME" position and the switch to the "0" position;
5. Press the trigger, in order to ensure that the hose is not
pressurised;
6. Lock the gun trigger.
This filter should be cleaned every time you use the spray
gun. When using thicker paints, the filter may need to be
cleaned more often.
1. Relieve the pressure as mentioned previously;
2. Release the trigger guard by pushing the lower end. Turn
and unscrew the handle;
3. Remove the filter from the gun and clean with a suitable
cleaning solution;
4. Check that the filter is not damaged in any way. If it is,
replace it;
5. Fit the filter into the spray gun and tighten the handle;
The filter must be fitted correctly to the gun. Improper
fitting will result in clogged spray tip or no flow coming out
of the gun.
6. Place the trigger guard.
The inlet filter situated in the suction tube may also need to
be cleaned. Check every time you change paint buckets.
Clean the inlet filter with a suitable cleaning solution.
1. Lock the gun trigger and turn the switch to the "0"
position;
2. Remove the suction tube and the return tube and clean
using a suitable cleaning solution;
You should also clean the inlet valve, remove and clean the
inlet filter.
3. Place the suction and return tubes back into the spray
gun;
4. Immerse the suction and return tube in a bucket of fresh
cleaning solution;
5. Set the "PRIME/SPRAY" lever to the "PRIME" position, set
the ON/OFF switch to the "I" position, and press the gun
trigger to a waste container to relieve pressure;
6. Let the airless paint sprayer spread the cleaning solution
for 2-3 minutes;
7. Set the ON/OFF switch to the "0" position and unplug the
power cord.
