Question/Problem - Cause
Causa
The airless paint sprayer does not switch on:
• No supply voltage;
• The machine was switched off under pressure;
• The extension cord is damaged;
• There is a problem with the motor;
Airless paint sprayer turns on but does not draw paint
when "PRIME/SPRAY" lever is set to "PRIME" position:
• The machine has not been correctly purged;
• The paint bucket is empty, or the suction tube is not
fully submerged in the paint;
• The inlet filter is clogged;
• The suction tube is not attached to the inlet valve;
• The inlet valve is worn or damaged;
The machine draws in the paint, but the pressure
decreases when the gun is triggered:
• The spray tip is damaged;
• The inlet filter is clogged;
• The gun filter is clogged;
• The paint is too thick;
• The inlet valve is worn or damaged;
The spray gun is leaking:
• The spray gun is damaged;
The spray tip is leaking:
• The spray tip is fitted incorrectly;
The spray gun does not spray:
• The spray nozzle or gun filter is clogged;
• The spray tip is in cleaning position;
The spray pattern is not uniform:
• The pressure is set at minimum pressure;
• The gun, nozzle, or gun filter is clogged;
• The suction tube is loose at the inlet valve;
• The spray tip is damaged;
• The paint is too thick;
Solution
• Check the power cord, plug and socket condition;
• Turn the pressure control dial to maximum pressure, or
relieve the pressure by setting the "PRIME/SPRAY" lever
to the "PRIME" position;
• Replace the extension cord;
• Contact the brand's service center;
• Purge the machine;
• Refill the bucket or dip the suction tube in paint;
• Clean the inlet filter;
• Clean the tube coupling and tighten it;
• Contact the brand's service center;
• Replace the spray tip;
• Clean the inlet filter;
• Clean the gun filter;
• Dilute the paint;
• Contact the brand's service center;
• Replace the spray gun;
• Check and assemble the spray tip correctly;
• Clean the spray tip or filter;
• Place the spray tip in the spraying position;
• Increase the pressure;
• Check and clean;
• Tighten the suction tube;
• Replace the spray tip;
• Dilute the paint;
