This may sound silly, but is your vacuum plugged in? Or is there any chance one of the hoses
isn't connected properly? Be sure to check those common things first, and if your vacuum
still won't work, check the list below.

Possible causes
Blown fuse/tripped breakers
in home
Hose not attached to foot suction
opening
Crack or hole in hose
Broken or stretched drive belt
Rotating floor brush bristles worn
Rotating floor brush jammed
Filters are dirty
Clog in vacuum
Dirt container or upper tank not
installed properly
Filters are dirty
Clog in vacuum
Dirt container full
Filters missing or installed
incorrectly
Incorrect height adjustment
Remedies
Check/replace fuse or reset breaker
Grasp quick reach handle and firmly push
hose wand onto the suction opening
Check hose and replace if needed
Replace drive belt, see page 9
Replace brush
Remove brush and clean debris
from brush ends
Check and clean pre-motor and
post-motor filters, see page 7-8
Follow instructions on page 9 for
clearing clogs
Position correctly and lock in place
Check and clean pre-motor and
post-motor filters, see page 7-8

Empty dirt container
