Unpack the backguard.
Place the backguard on the

cooktop and make sure that the
holes of both pieces match, so
the backguard is correctly seated
(see picture 1).
Place the 3 round head screws

at the lower face of both,
backguard and cooktop, firmly
tighten with the nuts (see
picture 1). Use pliers.
Place the metallic reinforcements

in position (see picture 2) and
slide them to their final location.

Place 1 Philips head screw on
each support and plastic spacer,
at the bottom of the backguard
(see picture 2).
Place 1 round head screw on

each support, at the upper face
of backguard and cooktop (see
picture 1), firmly tighten with
the nuts. Use pliers.
2.4 Connecting the gas supply
Make sure your home has a gas pressure regulator that provides the correct
pressure.
DO NOT USE PLASTIC HOSES TO CONNECT THE GAS
SUPPLY AS THEY COULD LEAK, EVEN BRAIDED FLEXIBLE
STEEL HOSES.
