2.5 Electrical connections

This appliance was designed to
operate at a rated voltage of
127 V 60 Hz for Mexico and
110 V 50 Hz for Jamaica.
Make sure there is an available
properly grounded wall outlet,
checked by a qualified electrician.
If your range is equipped with an
oven light, before using it make sure
that the outlet is properly grounded,
and protected by a thermal switch or
a 15 A - 20 A fuse.
Try not to connect any other appli-
ance to the same outlet.
The power cord must be free of
torsions and avoid contact with the
rear of the range. If an extension
cord is needed, you should use a
cord having the same specifications
of the power cord.
Never cut or remove the ground-
ing pin of the plug.
