IMPROPER INSTALLATION,
ADJUSTMENT OR
MAINTENANCE WORK
CAN CAUSE DAMAGES
AND ACCIDENTS.
A PROPERLY ADJUSTED BURNER IS
THE ONE THAT SHOWS A BLUISH
FLAME INSTEAD OF A YELLOW ONE.
FOR YOUR SAFETY, DO NOT STORE
GASOLINE OR OTHER FLAMMABLE
FLUIDS IN THE VICINITY OR INSIDE
YOUR RANGE.
DO NOT USE THE OVEN FOR
STORAGE PURPOSES, ITEMS
STORED INSIDE COULD IGNITE.
DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR OR RE-
PLACE ANY PART OF YOUR RANGE
UNLESS SPECIFIED IN THIS MANUAL.
3.2 Glass lid
(See features by model chart at the
end of the manual.)
Before using your range, make
sure the control knobs are in the
off position.
Lift the glass lid, it will stay in a
vertical position without having to
hold it.
This glass lid is not designed to
cook on it.
Hinges are carefully calculated to
reduce the risk of breaking the glass
plate, as they will reduce the impact
that it will receive if accidentally slip
off. However when lifting and
lowering the glass lid, do it carefully
because it is a fragile part.
ALWAYS LIFT THE GLASS LID
WHEN USING THE SURFACE
UNITS AND THE OVEN.
3.3 Turning on the burners.
BEFORE TURNING ON THE
BURNERS, REMOVE ALL
PACKAGING MATERIAL
THAT PROTECTS THE
RANGE.
THE OPERATION OF ALL BURNERS
AND OVEN SHOULD BE CHECKED
AFTER THE RANGE AND THE
CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN PROP-
ERLY VERIFIED AGAINST LEAKS.
WHEN TURNING ON THE BURNER
FOR THE FIRST TIME, FLAMES WILL
BE ALMOST HORIZONTAL AND WILL
SLIGHTLY LIFT UP FROM THE
BURNER, IN ADDITION A BLOWING
OR WHISTLING SOUND WILL BE
HEARD FOR 30 OR 60 SECONDS.
RECOMMENDATION: TO VERIFY THE
CORRECT OPERATION OF BURNERS,
TURN THEM ON ONCE A PAN IS ON
THE GRATE, THIS WILL PREVENT
HEARING NOISE CAUSED BY THE
INJECTION OF GAS TO THE BURNER.
