ELECTRONIC CHUTE DIRECTION
AND DEFLECTOR ADJUSTMENT
(FIG. 10)
This snow blower features an
electronically adjustable chute and
deflector.
The chute can be adjusted to change both
the direction and the throwing distance
of the discharged snow to assist you in
moving snow away from one area and
depositing it in another.
1. Press the safety button and the power
indicator will light up solid green.
2. The direction of snow discharge can
be adjusted up to left 100° and right
100° (Fig. 10a).
◾
Move the electronic chute direction/
pitch control handle to the left to
rotate the chute to the left.
◾
Move the electronic chute direction/
pitch control handle to the right to
rotate the chute to the right.
3. The throwing distance of the snow
discharge is determined in part by moving the chute deflector up or down (Fig. 10b).
◾
To increase the distance that the snow is thrown, pull the electronic chute
direction/pitch control handle backward. This will lift the deflector up.
◾
To decrease the distance that the snow is thrown, push the electronic chute
direction/pitch control handle forward. This will lower the deflector down.
NOTE:
When the snow blower is powered down and up again, the chute direction and
the deflector angle may get out of sync with the position of electronic chute direction/
pitch control handle. Operate the electronic chute direction/pitch control handle again
to electronically "re-connect" the handle and the chute/deflector.
