REPLACING THE SCRAPER BAR
(Fig. 16)
Required tool (not included):
◾
one 15 mm socket wrench
◾
one 8 mm open-end wrench or
adjustable wrench
1. Remove the battery pack(s).
2. Lay the snow blower on its side or any other convenient position for scraper bar
service.
3. Loosen and remove the outer bolt, gasket, and nut on each skid shoe.
4. Loosen and remove the five nuts on the bottom of the deck, as well as the five bolts
inside.
5. Remove the scraper bar away from the deck.
6. Replace the worn scraper bar with a new one.
7. Reassemble the two outer bolts, gaskets, and nuts on the skid shoes, as well as the
five bolts and nuts on the bottom of the deck. Securely tighten them.
REPLACING THE SHEAR PIN
(Fig. 17)
The shear pins are located in the auger
shaft. They aid in absorbing the instant-
stall torque when the auger strikes
obstacles during work and protect the
gearbox and motor from damage.
Replace the shear pins if they are broken
(Fig. 17a).
Required tools (not included):

10 mm open-end wrench or adjustable wrench
◾
4 mm hex key
1. Remove the battery pack(s).
2. Remove the shear pin and nut.
