5.14. Installing the drill bits:
• Insert the drill bit (not supplied with the product) around 20mm into the chuck jaws. When using small drill
bits, do not insert them deep enough to cause the jaws to touch the flutes.
• Make sure the drill bit is centered in the chuck before tighening it with the chuck key (Figure 8.19).
5.15. Positioning the workpiece:
• Always use a piece of wood, securing it firmly on the table 7. It will prevent the shattering or the presence of
barbs under the workpiece when the drill bit goes through it.
• The wood must be in contact with the left side of the column (Figure 8.20).
5.16. Installing a bench vise on the drill
• Use a bench vise (does not come with the product) on the drill for very little workpieces that can't be fixed
on the table.
• The bench vise must be fixed on the table/base with clamps or bolts.
