10. USE PROCEDURE
1. Adjust the spindle 14 speed according to the application. Make sure the drill is disconnected from power
before making the adjustment. - See Tables 8.2 and 8.3, adjust the spindle speed (rpm).
2. Adjust the drilling depth using the depth gage 11.
3. Move the table to the desired height using the crank 6. For angle drilling, adjust the table to the desired angle
using the bolt, use a protractor as reference (Figure 8.10).
4. Place or fix the workpiece on the table, or, if necessary, on the base, using a proper device for clamping it.
5. For improved cooling of the drill bit, we recommend using lubricant (not supplied) according to the drilling
material.
6. Turn on the start switch 10.
7. The spindle feed is done by the feed handle 13. For its return, just release it.
Observation: make sure the handle does not hit the user.
11. DRILLING PRECISION
Every drill bit makes a hole slightly larger than its diameter. In the guiding table below you have the rate of this
increase in the size of the hole caused by the drill bit.
DIAMETER (mm)
IMPORTANT
in size will be much greater than the indicated in the table. The drill bit cannot spin in the chuck, because it
will cause the drill bit to lose its precision and the chuck to lose the jaws' proper contact surfaces even after
replacing the drill bit.
12. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Wear appropriate "leather" gloves when performing maintenance or cleaning up the product in order to
avoid injuries
ATTENTION
follow the recommendations below:
1. Daily
