Cleaning the Sureflo™ Valve
Cleaning or servicing the Sureflo™ valve may be required if the unit has priming problems. Priming problems may be
prevented by properly cleaning the sprayer and following the long-term storage steps.
1. Remove the suction set. Loosen the fitting as shown (a)
and remove the Sureflo™ valve solenoid.
3. Check the O-ring on the Sureflo™ valve connecting
area as shown. Clean any paint residue and lubricate
with separating oil (P/N 0516444).
5. Replace Sureflo™ valve assembly by placing it over the
housing and replacing the clip.
The "L" guide on the Sureflo™ valve should be oriented as
shown or the power cord on the Sureflo™ valve solenoid
will not let the solenoid be reattached.
