WARNING
Check that the roof box and the basic carrier or basic carrier for rails
are securely attached before every journey and also during long
journeys.
Repeat these checks at regular intervals depending on the road
surface conditions and at the latest after 621 miles (1000 km) of
continuous use.
Do not use the roof box if it is damaged or faulty. There is a risk of
the roof box coming loose from your vehicle and thus injuring you or
others and/or causing material damage, including to your vehicle.
For safety reasons, install the roof box on the side facing away from the
traffic. If two roof boxes are installed, pay attention to road and traffic
conditions when loading and unloading.
Align the roof box parallel to the vehicle's longitudinal axis.

To avoid wind noise, you can use the cover profiles supplied with the
basic carrier or basic carrier for rails.
