The prefilter (1) collects most of the coagulated
sludge, while the main filter (2) collects finer paint
particles.
Remove the paint residues from the prefilter. Once
the paint residues are completely dry, they are
easy to remove. If the paint residues are removed
after each coagulation process, the prefilter can be
reused up to 10 times.
The main filter will gradually become blocked
after trapping the finer paint particles. In general,
the main filter can be used for up to 5 coagulation
processes. However, the main filter must be
changed every 1–2 months to prevent bacterial
growth.
Note! Coagulation paint residue must be handled
according to regulations from the appropriate
authority. Information from the paint supplier may
be required.
