SCOPE OF THIS DOCUMENT
This document is valid for the following DRESTER
spray gun cleaners:

• DRESTER ACE Quattro Solvent (DG4S/DI4S)
• DRESTER ACE Double Combo (DG2C/DI2C)

• DRESTER ACE Quattro Combo (DG4C/
DI4C)
Double/Triple/Quattro = 2/3/4 wash areas in unit.
Model designation ending with an A = The unit is
intended for waterborne paint (Aqua).
Model designation ending with an S = The unit is
intended for solvent-based paint (Solvent).
Model designation ending with a C = The unit is
intended for both waterborne and solvent-based
paint (Combo).
All instructions are valid for all models, if not stated
otherwise.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Improper use of DRESTER spray gun cleaners may
cause hazards.
Improper choice or handling of drums or solvent
may also cause hazards.
To maintain the high safety standard of the unit,
follow the instructions below strictly.
• Read and make sure you fully understood all
information in this manual.
• Keep this manual in close proximity to the unit.
Make sure it is in a legible condition.
• Make sure every user knows where to find the
manual.
• Any operating instructions should be based
on this manual, and written in the language
spoken by the user.
• Install your unit as described in this manual.
• Use your unit as described in this manual.

• Only use original spare parts.
• Do not in any way modify the unit.
• Do not operate the unit unless it is properly
vented with sufficient extraction of vapors.
• Avoid contact with liquid and vapor. Refer to
the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the
solvents.
• Wear the correct protective gear:
» Chemical goggles to protect your eyes.
» Chemical-resistant gloves to prevent skin
contact.
» Chemical-resistant clothing to protect
against spills or splash.
• Persons suffering from respiratory problems or
allergies to solvents used, must not operate the
unit.
• Clean up spills immediately.
• To avoid accidental leakage and spills from
drums, make sure that the proper measures are
in place.
• Do not smoke, eat, or drink close to the unit.
• A safety valve will interrupt the automatic
wash cycle if the lid is opened before the wash
cycle is completed. In case of malfunction, or
suspected malfunction, of the safety valve, the
unit must not be used until the safety valve has
been repaired.
• Spray guns or any other paint equipment
cleaned in the unit must be suitable for
cleaning in a Zone 1 area (ref. DIRECTIVE
1999/92/EC) if the unit is used with flammable
solvents.
