5.-WATER SUPPLY
The quality of the water supplied to the ice machine will have an impact on the time between cleanings and ultimately on the life of
the product (mainly in water cooled units). It also will have a remarkable influence on the appearance, hardness and flavour of the
ice.
Local water conditions may require treatment of the water to inhibit scale formation, improve taste and clarity. If you are installing a
water filter system, refer to the installation instructions supplied with the filter system.
Use a flexible food grade hose.
Pressure should be between 14 and 85 psi (0,1 MPa and 0,6 MPa or 1 and 6 bar). If pressure overpasses such values, install a
pressure regulator.
The water connection needs to be dedicated (only piece of equipment hooked to the water line). Water line from the water valve to
the ice machine needs to be ¼" nominal ID tubing.
ATTENTION: This equipment is to be installed with adequate backflow protection to comply with applicable federal, state and local
codes.
