Frigo DC
Do not store any potentially explosive materials, such as spray cans with flam-
mable propellants, in the refrigerator compartment.

Intended use
The transport refrigeration system is intended for maintaining the storage tem-
perature of chilled goods stored in a transport vehicle. It maintains the cold chain
from the place of origin (manufacturer) to the customer. The transport refrigera-
tion system can be used in a temperature range between +20 °C and 0 °C in the
cargo space.
The transport refrigeration system is only suitable for use with the R-134a
refrigerant.
Any use other than or beyond that purpose constitutes use other than intended.
The electrical refrigeration system cannot be operated when outside tempera-
tures are below 0 °C.
The refrigeration system can only be operated when the vehicle engine is run-
ning, to avoid running down the vehicle's battery.
Undervoltage at the power supply causes the refrigeration system to shut down.
When the vehicle engine is switched off, the temperature in the cargo space can
only be maintained to a limited extent.
With the supplementary equipment "Stationary Cooling", the transport refriger-
ation system can be connected to a 230 V power supply network with integrated
safety switch (FI 30 mA tripping current) and can thereby be used when parked.
The food to be transported may only be transported in its original packaging or
in suitable containers.
4
Function description
The transport refrigeration system discharges the heat in the cargo space to the
exterior, as the refrigerant circulating in a closed system undergoes thermody-
namic changes.
The evaporator is equipped with an automatic defrosting function.
The refrigeration system is powered by the vehicle's on-board power supply.
I
NOTE
The electrical refrigeration system works independently and has no influence
on the vehicle's air conditioning system.
