After use

Shut down
•
Stop the pump.
•
Disconnect the control valve cable between the pump and the tool.
•
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the tool and the pump. Refer to section 5.3.

Inspection
•
Check the pump for external damage and/or oil leakage.
6.4.3
Cleaning and storage
•
Make sure the pump has cooled down.
•
Clean the pump and any accessories before storage.
•
Clean the couplers and dust caps. Make sure the dust caps are installed.
•
Dry the pump if it was used in wet conditions. Apply a thin coat of preservative oil to the external
steel parts.
•
Store the pump horizontally in a dry and well-ventilated area.
•
Make sure the pump can not fall over during transport.

Troubleshooting
7.1
General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems. For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
7.2
The electric motor is not running

Possible cause
There is no power supply to the motor.
The overload protection is activated.
The motor is defective.
7.3
The electric motor develops insufficient power
/i
Possible cause
One phase is incorrectly connected.
The cable used is too long or is overloaded.
7.4
The connected tool is not or partially moving
/i
Possible cause
The hydraulic oil level is too low.
There is air in the system.

Solution
Plug connector into socket outlet.
Starting under load is not possible.
Use a power cable with a higher power rating.
Have the motor repaired or replaced by an
Holmatro Certified Technician.
Solution
Have the phase properly connected by a certified
electrician.
Use a power cable with a higher power rating.
Solution
Add hydraulic oil.
Vent the system.
