TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Breaker trips repeatedly
Water leaks around pump
Motor comes on and hums
Door seal leaking
There is a leak from under the handle
or there is a leak from the spout when
the faucet is off.
There is a leak from the spout base
when the faucet is on.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Please look for short in wiring.
2. Please replace breaker or GFCI.
3. Replace the pump.
1. The O-ring maybe is not installed properly
1. May be a symptom of the pump shaft being
stuck due to the build up of minerals, or debris
collecting on the impeller on the pump.
1. Maybe has some dirt or debris around the door
seal.
2. The bathtub not level.
3. If the floor is loose or uneven material.
4. The door gasket had deformation.
1. The bonnet nut is not tight enough.
2. The cartridge is damaged.
The o-ring which is on the connector under the
spout is worn.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Shortage between breaker and tub, please look
for short in wiring.
2. Breaker/GFCI defective, please replace breaker
or GFCI.
3. Pump bad and replace pump or blower.
1. Check to see if the black union nut on the pump is
tight and if the O-rings are sealed properly. Loosen
the unions from the PVC, reset the O-rings for proper
seating, and then tighten the union nuts BY HAND
until seal is formed.
1. Unplug the pump motor and locate the fan cover
on the back end of the pump. With the pump
unplugged, insert a screwdriver through the center
hole in the fan cover and attempt to rotate the pump
shaft. If the shaft rotates but the pump still does not
operate properly the pump assembly may have to be
replaced.
1. Wipe down the door seal using a damp soft cloth,
as well as the surface on the door jamb that will
come in contact with the seal when filling tub with
water.
2. Verify that the tub is level in both directions.
Confirm that all 8 leveling legs are firmly contacting
the floor and are locked in place.
3. Inspect the condition of the sub floor that the tub
legs are setting on. Fill in uneven areas.
4. In a relaxed state the gasket should be basically
round in shape. Applying heat with either a blow
dryer or a heat gun may allow the door seal to
recover its original shape.
1. Remove the handle and retighten the bonnet nut.
2. If the problem occurs after retightening the bonnet
nut, callcustomer service for a new cartridge and
replace it after you receive the new cartridge.
Call customer service for a new o-ring and replace
it after you receive the new o-ring.
