The appliance may be used by children over eight years of age, and by
persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities, or with lack
of experience or knowledge, only if supervised or instructed in its use in safe
conditions, and after having understood the related risks.
Cleaning and maintenance may not be performed by children unless they are
over eight years of age and are supervised.
Keep the appliance and its power cable away from the reach of children
below 8 years old, especially when the machine is connected to the power
grid or while it is cooling down.
Children must not be permitted to play with the appliance.
When in operation, the appliance must not be left unattended.
The electrical safety of this appliance depends on its being grounded, as foreseen by
applicable safety rules and regulations. This important requirement must be verified by a
qualified professional technician.
The appliance must absolutely be connected to the power supply via a properly grounded
outlet.
For your safety, it is strongly advised to provide electrical power to the
appliance using a residual current circuit breaker (RDC) with on/off power
under 30 mA.
Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
Do not carry and/or pull the appliance by the power cord.
The appliance must not be immersed in water, for cleaning or any other
reason.
When in operation, the surfaces are likely to become hot.
Place the appliance on a flat, regular and stable surface, in a safe place where it cannot be
knocked over or injure someone.
The coffee machine should not be put in a cabinet when it is being used.
Do not use the appliance outdoors; do not leave it where the temperature is below or equal
to 0°C, if the appliance contains water.
Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces or near open flames, to avoid damage. If the
appliance will not be used for an extended period of time, empty the water tank.
In case of problems with the appliance, contact an authorized dealer.
Do not try to repair the appliance.
