Opening the shade
Please note!
– Before opening the sun shade, ensure
that it has a sufficiently secure posi-
tion, that is, that a base with proper
weight is used.
1. Remove strap 31 and, if necessary,
protective cover 30.
2. Open the sun shade slightly by hand.
In the process, turn the crank 13
clockwise and open the sun shade
completely (see figure 9 and 10).
3. Alternatively, push the pedal 16 down
with your foot to open the sun shade
(see figure 11).
Storing the remote control
– You can store the remote control 17
on the screen (see figure 12).
Tilting the sun shade
• To adjust the tilt of the sun shade, push
the locking mechanism 18 in the han-
dle 19 and slide the handle up or down.
Let the handle lock into the desired po-
sition in one of the holes on the snap
hole bar 20 (see figure 13 and 14).
Rotating the sun shade
• To rotate the sun shade, push the
locking mechanism lever 21 with your
foot. Turn the sun shade to the desired
position (see figure 15).
Switching the LED lights on
and off
(see figure 16)
The sun shade can be connected to the
mains via the mains plug 6. Alternative-
ly, it can be operated using the recharge-
able battery 24 in the rechargeable bat-
tery box 22.
1. Connect the mains plug to a properly
installed socket.

2. Set the toggle switch 18 in the battery
box to position "I" for continuous op-
eration, and position "0" for operation
with remote control 17.
3. To stop the LED lighting's continuous
operation, switch the toggle switch to
the "0" position without using the re-
mote control.
4. When not in use, please disconnect
the mains plug from the mains.
Changing LED lighting with
the remote control
1. To switch on the LED lighting via the
remote control 17, press the button on
the remote control.
2. To change the LED lighting, press the
button on the remote control again.
3. To switch off the LED lighting, press
the button on the remote control.
4. Disconnect the mains plug from the
mains when not using the sun shade.
Closing the sun shade
Please note!
– Close the sun shade in the event of
incoming wind, rain or snow. Damag-
es occurring as a result of a failure to
do so are not covered by the warranty.
– When closing the sun shade, the cov-
er could get caught between the brac-
es. If this happens, carefully pull the
cover between the braces out.
1. Tilt the sun shade to its maximum in-
clination position (see section "Tilting
the sun shade" and figure 14, 17).
2. Switch the LED lights off.
3. Turn the crank 13 anticlockwise to
close the sun shade (see figure 18).
4. If the cover is caught between the
braces, carefully pull the cover be-
tween the braces out (see figure 19).
5. Tie the sun shade up with the attached
strip 31 and then cover it with a protec-
tive sleeve 30 if needed (not included in
the package contents) (see figure 27).
