Changing/Charging the
rechargeable battery
The package contents of the sun shade
include a charger for charging the re-
chargeable battery 24 and a second re-
chargeable battery.
If the rechargeable battery is depleted,
you can charge it.
1. Open the rechargeable battery box 22
using the enclosed key and remove
the adapter 25 with the rechargeable
battery 24 (see figure 20).
2. Press down on the red catch 23 and
remove the rechargeable battery 24
from the adapter 25 (see figure 21).
3. Charge the rechargeable battery 24
using the charger supplied, and place
the charged or new rechargeable bat-
tery back on the adapter 25. Make sure
that the contacts on the adapter engage
the designated contact grooves on the
rechargeable battery. The rechargea-
ble battery should lock into place in the
adapter with a "click" (see figure 22).
4. Carefully store the adapter 25 in the
rechargeable battery box 22 and
close the rechargeable battery box.
– The light shines at its brightest level for
approx. 300 min./charge per recharge-

longer at lower light intensity.

Storing the sun shade
• For over winter storage, take down the
sun shade in a completely dry state
and store it in a dry, well ventilated
room.
• If possible, store the sun shade upright
and without any load on the sun shade.
• At the start of the season ensure that
all components and fixings are se-
