15.d - EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Extraordinary maintenance must be
performed b y q ualified t echnical p ersonnel.
-
Respecting the ordinary maintenance indications allows a good
functioning of the machine, some parts are subject to a risk of
breakage thought, and other parts can wear during time.
In both cases these parts need to be replaced.
-
If necessary, use exclusively accessories and spare parts
authorized by the manufacturer; original accessories and spare
parts guarantee that the device is used safely and correctly.
The electric cable MUST be subject of controls regularly in
-
order to verify the presence of possible wear or breakages
(verification every 6 months).
ATTENTION !
In case damages to the electrical
cable are revealed, it's necessary
not to use the machine until repair
took place.
15.d.1 - PROTECTION FUSE
REPLACEMENT
If turning the general switch on "ON" (14) the machine
-
doesn't start (warning light "6") .....
..... verify if there is voltage in the system,
..... verify if the upstream switch-disconnector is closed
("ON" position),
-
If the problem persist, verify the conditions of the protection
fuse (F).
ATTENTION !
Open the switch disconnector
positioned upstream of the machine
("OFF" position). Electric shock
danger!!
a. Open the right door (4) (fig. 13).
b. Turn the general switch on "OFF" (14) (fig. 13).
c. Remove the cycle times regulation knobs (13) (fig. 36).
d. Unscrew the screws (56a) and remove the cover (56) of the
electronic card (57) (fig. 37).
e. Verify the fuse conditions (F) (fig. 38).

* Paragraphs reserved to the specialized technical personnel
*
If necessary replace it with another one with the same
characteristics (6,3 A).
f. Replace the cover (56) (fig. 39).
g. Place the knobs (13) into the slots on the electronic card and
rotate them counterclockwise until they stop (fig. 40).
h. Rotate the regulator's knob "P1" to set the cycling time (see
paragraph 13 - fig. 25).
i. Close the switch-disconnector ("ON" position).
l. Rotate the general switch (14) to "ON" and check that the
indicator light (6) is turned on.
15.d.2 - BELT REPLACEMENT *
ATTENTION !
Open the switch disconnector
positioned upstream of the machine
("OFF" position). Electric shock
danger!!
a. Open the right (4) and left (16) lateral doors (fig. 41).
b. Turn the general switch on "OFF" (14).
c. Unscrew the knobs (54) (fig. 41).
d. Remove the top casing (2) (fig. 41).
e. Loosen the 4 Allen screws (53) (fig. 42).
f. Withdraw the belt (58) and replace it with a new one (fig. 43).
g. Push the motor back (17) to tension the new belt (58) correctly
(fig. 44) If the belt moves about 1 cm, it means that the tension
is correct (Fig. 45).
h. Tighten the 4 Allen screws (53) (fig. 44).
i. Reposition the upper casing (2) and secure it by screwing in
the knobs (54) (Fig. 46).
l. Close the right (4) and left (16) side doors.
An insufficient belt (58) tension affects its correct
functioning.
An excessive tension damages the belt wearing
it quickly.
15.d.3 - MOTOR REPLACEMENT *
ATTENTION !
Open the switch disconnector
positioned upstream of the machine
("OFF" position). Electric shock
danger!!
Before replacing the motor (17) it is necessary to remove the
belt (58) (see paragraph "Belt replacement").
After removing the belt (58), work as follows:
a. Entirely undo the 4 socket screws (53) to release the motor
(17) (fig. 47).
b. Undo the screws (55) to remove the motor (17) from the support (63)
(fig. 47).
