1. GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
General tips and safety measures to be taken. The following tips are general rules for the use of Ditec
NGR gearmotors in combination with other equipments. You should definitely take note of these tips
during installation and use.
- The installation, the opening of the limit switch box and the Ditec NGR electrical connection must be done
without electrical tension.
- Ditec NGR must be installed with its protections and security installations. You also have to pay ATTENTION
to fix it in the correct way.
- Check before activating that the voltage for Ditec NGR is the same as the supply voltage on the site.
- The device "EMERGENCY STOP" must remain active on all modes of operation of the Ditec NGR. In case the
"EMERGENCY STOP" unlocks, it must not under any circumstances cause an undesired activation of the
Ditec NGR.
- For spare parts, see the spares price list.
- For repairs or replacements of products only original spare parts must be used.
- The installer shall provide all information relating to automatic, manual and emergency operation of the
motorised door or gate, and provide the user with operating instructions.
- The installer must prepare the maintenance log, which will indicate all the interventions of ordinary and ex-
traordinary maintenance carried out.
IMPORTANT SAFETY REGULATIONS to be respected:
- Ditec NGR must be installed in compliance with all the electrical system and safety regulations in force.
- A regular magnetothermal switch must be installed up line from the power supply circuit (16A multiple-pole
device, minimum opening contacts = at least 3mm). The switch must be opened every time the gearmotor
and its control unit are accessed.
- The connection to the power mains must be performed by qualified technicians able to work in compliance
with the regulations.
- Check that the mains voltage supplied to the system corresponds to the voltage that Ditec NGR requires. Also
check that the line has an adequate cross section and is equipped with a ground wire.
If the above mentioned requirements are not respected, Ditec declines any responsibilities while
the user is responsible for a negligent use of the product.
The packaging components (cardboard, plastic, etc.) should be disposed through the separate collection for recycling. Befo-
re proceeding however, check the local regulations regarding disposal. The packaging materials should not be discarded in
the environment or left within reach of children, as they are a potential source of danger.
