Lower blade guide adjustment
1) Tilt the table to 45 degrees. (This helps to give access to the adjustment screws)
2) Loosen the thrust bearing set screw with allen wrench. (Fig. 14)
3) Adjust the bearing to 1/32' away from the blade. (When the band saw is turned by hand
it should it should not touch the bearing)
3) Tighten set screw.
Lower guide pin adjustment
1) With the table level adjust the pins by loosening the two screws that hold the guide pins
in place with allen wrench. (Fig. 15) (The lower housing door needs to be opened to
access the screws)
2) Press the guide pins together against the blade.
3) Turn the saw wheel by hand clockwise several times to bring the guide pins into the
correct position.
4) Tighten the guide pins set screws.
NOTE: The right guide pin is accessed through the slot in the lower housing.
(Turn the blade wheel by hand two times to ensure the blade is not pinched)
Housing doors
CAUTION: The upper and lower housing doors must always be closed and locked while the
machine is in use to protect against contact with rotating parts.
1) To open either door rotate the locking screw to the left and open the door. (Fig. 16 & 17)
Rip Fence
(Fig. 18)
1) Adjust rip fence to required width and lock in position by pushing down on the lock handle.
2) The rip fence can be positioned on either side of the table.
Miter gauge
(Fig. 19)
1) Adjust the miter gauge by loosening the knob on the top of the miter gauge and rotate
until desired angle is reached and tighten to secure angle.
Bevel angle
Is for cutting material at an angle from 0 to 45 degrees.
1) Loosen the table locking knob. (Fig. 20)
2) Loosen the table setting lever (Fig.21). The lever works on a cam which allows you to
pull it towards you and back to the original position should you run out of room.
3) Use the bevel scale under the table and set table to desired angle. (Fig.22)
4) Lock the table in desired position.
Changing Blades
WARNING: Blade teeth are sharp! Use care when handling the saw blade. Failure to
comply may cause serious injury.
1) Disconnect machine from power source.
2) Open both wheel covers .
3) Remove rip fence.
4) Remove the bracket from under the work table by loosening the two knobs.
5) Release tension on the blade by loosening the tension knob (Fig. 23).
6) Remove blade (Fig. 24) from upper and lower wheels (Fig. 25) and from between the
upper and lower blade guides.
