Description of the issue
After switching the battery on, the
engine does not provide pedal
assistance.
Battery life is shorter
(Battery
performance
is
influenced by user weight, baggage,
wind force, type of road and constant
braking).
After plugging in the charger, the
charging LEDs do not light up.
After charging for more than 5 hours,
the charge indication LED is still red.
(N.B.: it is very important to charge the
battery according to the instructions
to avoid damaging the equipment).
Possible causes
1) the engine cable (waterproof
connection joint) is loose
2) the speed sensor is too far from the
magnetic disc on the B.B. axis.
3) the connection between the sensor
and the controller is not established or
has a faulty contact.
1) insufficient charging time
directly
2) the ambient temperature is too low
and affects the functioning of the
battery
3) hills, frequent headwinds, or roads
in poor condition
4) the tyre pressure is not high enough
(inflate them)
5) frequent stops and restarts
6) the battery has been stored without
being charged for a long time.
1) problem with the electrical socket
2) faulty contact between the charger
plug and the electrical socket
3) the temperature is too low.
1) the ambient temperature is 40°C or
higher
2) the ambient temperature is 0°C or
lower
3) the bicycle was not charged after
use, which exacerbated the decrease
in charge
4) the output voltage is too low to
charge the battery.
First, check that the battery is
charged. If not, charge it.
1) check that the connection is well
established, without any give
2) adjust the distance between the
sensor and the magnetic tape so that
it is not more than 3 mm
3) make sure that the controller and
the sensor are connected properly.
1) please recharge the battery as
described in section 7.3
2) in winter or at temperatures below
0°C, your battery must be kept indoors
3) this is a normal cause, and the
problem will be solved with improved
conditions
4) inflate the tyres to a pressure of 3
bar
5) the problem will be solved with the
improvement of the usage conditions
6) regularly charge the battery in
accordance
manual. If this does not solve the
problem, contact your retailer or a
qualified professional.
1) check and repair the electrical
socket
2) check and fully insert the plug
3) charge indoors.
If the above solutions do not work,
contact your retailer or a qualified
professional.
1) charge the battery below 40°C and
in accordance with the instructions
2) charge the battery indoors and in
accordance with the instructions
3) correctly maintain the battery to
avoid exacerbating the decrease in
charge
4) do not charge with a voltage lower
than 100 V.
If the above solutions do not work,
contact your retailer or a qualified
professional.
