4.0 - SAFETY

5- Maintain the protection of the drive
shaft in perfect state of repair.
6- Do not remain near the transmission
work area. It is dangerous to remain
near the transmissions and other
rotating components in operation.
7- Do not drink, smoke or eat while
operating the machine or handling
chemical substances.
8- Wear the appropriate personal
protection equipment (P.P. E.), when in
direct or indirect contact with chemical
pesticides or fertilizers.
- Protection mask or
breathing filter;
- Safety goggles;
- Special clothing;
- Safety footwear: boots;
- Safety gloves.
9- People and animals must be kept at
a distance.
10- Appropriate care not to contaminate
rivers, lakes, dams, soil, etc.
11- Wash P.P.E. with water and soap
and rinse in abundant water after each
application or handling of chemical
pesticides.
12-Bathe at the end of each working
day.
13-In case of accident or queasiness
while handling products, immediately
seek a physician, taking with you the
label of the treatment product being
used.
