7.6 - Pneumatic Spring
Adjustments
BOXERs are equipped with pneumatic
spring suspension, with the function of
absorbing and correcting irregularities
on the terrains, thus affording great
boom stability.
The regulation is performed by
calibrating the springs, with independent
adjustments for the rear pneumatic
springs and joint adjustment for the front
ones.
The regulation height for the 4
pneumatic springs is 270 mm from the
lower base to the upper base with a full
tank.
Regulation of the rear pneumatic
springs is done independently, using
each spring's intake.
And the regulation of the front
pneumatic springs is done jointly, when
there being just one calibration
air intake for both springs located
in the front part of the machine's
undercarriage.
