The indicator light (LED) always flashes
whenever an error mode is indicated in the
display, as described on page 58:
Fault
The device cannot be activated (no
beep, no red or green light signal).
Indicator light (LED) flashes green/red
and goes out after a few seconds.
No aerosol seems to be created when
the device is activated, or the device
switches itself off after a few seconds.
The indicator light (LED) lights up red
during operation.
The device switches off during opera-
tion, even though there is still sufficient
medication in the medication reservoir.
E.g.
- shortly after switching on or
- after the automatic shutoff time has
elapsed (20 minutes).
The device does not switch itself off,
even though there is no more than
about 1 ml medication left in the medi-
cation reservoir.

Possible cause/Remedy
- To switch on, press the ON/OFF button for
approx. 2 seconds.
- Is power plug plugged into mains and the
device (for mains operation)?
- Are batteries inserted correctly?
- Check the charge level of the batteries!
- Check the connection between the control
unit and the nebuliser handset.

Has the medication reservoir been filled with
medication?
To check, open the cap on the medication res-
ervoir again, fill with medication if necessary,
and close securely again (see
section "Connecting the nebuliser handset",
Chapter PREPARATION FOR INHALATION).
The batteries are almost flat. Replace them or
use the power adapter.
- Check the charge level of the batteries!
- The nebuliser handset was not being held
horizontally. Hold the nebuliser handset
horizontally.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to resume
treatment, so that you can inhale the pre-
scribed quantity of medication.
To switch the device off, press the ON/OFF
button.
