⁄ For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that
this unit be installed by a licensed, professional
plumber.
⁄ Please read over these instructions thoroughly be-
fore beginning installation. Make sure that you
have all tools and supplies needed to complete
the installation.
⁄ This trim is for use with rough valve model
10754181 (not included). When this trim kit is in-
stalled on the rough valve, an automatically com-
pensating valve for anti-scald protection for individ-
ual fixture fittings, compliant to ASME A112.18.1/
CSA B125.1, will be created.
⁄ Trim kit 36702XX1 is included in trim kit 36704XX1.
36704XX1 is for use with rough valve 36708181.
When this trim kit is installed on the rough valve,
an automatically compensating valve for anti-scald
protection for individual fixture fittings, compliant to
ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1, will be created.

⁄ This thermostatic mixing valve is for use with show-
erheads rated at 1.1 GPM (4.2 L/min) or higher.
⁄ To prevent scald injury, the maximum output tem-
perature of the shower valve must be no higher
than 120°F (49°C). In Massachusetts, the maxi-
mum output temperature can be no higher than
112°F (44°C).
⁄ Keep this booklet and the receipt (or other proof
of date and place of purchase) for this product in
a safe place. The receipt is required should it be
necessary to request warranty parts.
