Notes on storage of batteries
Follow the rules that apply to the handling of
lithium-ion batteries. Batteries may only be stored
in the original packaging. Any additional outer
packaging means additional fire load and should
be avoided.
Important!
Store batteries so that they are evenly
distributed with the greatest possible
distance between them and do not stack
them (minimum distance of 1 cm must be
observed; see label on inside of cabinet
door)
Important!
Never store damaged lithium-ion
batteries inside buildings. Dispose of
them outside the building in containers
provided for this purpose and approved
for transport.
i
Note
!
Wear personal protective equipment.
When handling batteries, always wear protective
equipment suitable for the work being carried out.
If in doubt, read the product safety sheet provided
by the battery manufacturer. Always wear the cor-
rect protective equipment during installation, use
and maintenance: Gloves, safety glasses, safety
shoes and long work clothes.
