BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any stickers and protective films from the soleplate.
Heat the iron to the maximum temperature and iron over a damp cloth for several minutes to remove any
residue from the soleplate. Iron according to the instructions under the heading 'Ironing with steam'.
Caution:
It is normal for a strange smell to be released during initial use. This smell will disappear after a while.
There may be particles coming out of the soleplate during the first use. This is normal. The particles are
not harmful and will disappear after a while.
When you turn the appliance on, the steam generator may make a pumping noise. This is normal. This
sound is a sign that water is being pumped into the steam generator.
While heating up the soleplate, a little steam will automatically come out of the soleplate. This is also
normal and will last about 3 seconds.

Use the dial to set the right temperature for the right fabric.

This steam generator offers 2 options: dry ironing or steam ironing. To do this, follow the instructions
below. Also carefully read the ironing tips at the bottom of this section before using the appliance.
DRY IRONING
1.
Place the iron on the thermal insulation pads.
2.
DO NOT fill the water tank with water.
3.
Insert the plug into the socket and press the on/off button. The indicator light of the on/off button
will start to illuminate.
4.
During heating, the ECO steam light will flash.
5.
Turn the temperature dial to the desired setting, depending on the type of fabric to be ironed. The
temperature indicator light will start to illuminate and the iron will begin to heat up.
