6. When the temperature indicator light goes off, the selected temperature has been reached. You can
now start ironing.
Caution: never touch the hot soleplate!
7. After ironing, press the on/off button for a few seconds and the appliance will switch off. All indicator
lights will now go out. Remove the plug from the socket. Let the appliance cool down completely.
8. If you do not use the steam button or control panel buttons for 10 minutes, the appliance will
automatically switch off. This is a safeguard in case you forget to switch off the iron.
IRONING WITH STEAM
Caution: do not plug in the power cord yet.
1. Grasp the water tank of the steam generator by the handle and press the release button for
removing the water tank, pull the water tank out of the generator. Fill the reservoir with water,
being careful not to exceed the maximum level (1.8 l). Use only tap water or 50% tap water and 50%
demineralised water in case of hard water.
2. Place the water tank back into the steam generator.
3. Plug in, press the on/off button.
4. Turn the temperature dial to the desired temperature depending on the type of fabric, the
temperature indicator light will start to illuminate.
Attention : adjust the temperature dial within the margins of the steam symbol. Otherwise, condensation
will form and water droplets will emerge from the ironing soleplate during ironing.
5. The water will start to heat up and after a few minutes, the temperature indicator light will go out.
This indicates that the soleplate has reached the correct temperature.
6. During heating, the ECO indicator light will flash.
7. Use the steam selection button to choose the amount of steam : eco or regular. The steam indicator
light of the selected amount will light up.
8. To iron with steam, press the steam button on the inside of the handle of the iron. Continuous steam
will come out of the soleplate. When you release the button, iron again dry, without steam

10. Remove the plug from the wall socket. Let the appliance cool down completely.

Temperature indicator light
When the iron is heating up, the temperature indicator light will come on. When the set temperature is
reached, the light will turn off again. During ironing, the light will switch on and off alternately, as the iron
is kept at the correct temperature.
