Symbols and warnings
•
Built-in safety device: When not working, after 20 minutes the battery set automatically disconnects from
the power supply, so it has to be started again by means of the switch (4).
•
Built-in protection device: Protects the battery set avoiding that the voltage increases or decreases too
much, considering the indicated thresholds.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1
Starting
•
Remove the components from their case.
•
Recharge the batteries (2) (see par. 5.3).
•
Fit the battery set (2) onto the backpack (3) by following the instructions in par. 4.2.
•
Plug the cable (1) taking care of the male/female connections.
4.2
Fitting the battery set onto the backpack
•
Remove the backpack (3) and the battery set (2) from their case.
•
Insert into the lower backpack pocket the lower part of the battery rear part.
•
Insert the buckles of backpack into the corresponding holes in the upper part of it (3).
•
Adjust the connecting straps of the two parts of the backpack (3) so that it can remain close to the battery
back part.
IMPORTANT!
If the backpack (3) has been assembled in the right way, it is possible to reach the battery charger
connector without removing the battery set (2).
5. USE OF THE UNIT
5.1
Starting the unit
•
Wear the backpack (3) and adjust the belt length by means of the buckle.
•
Adjust the braces buckle so that they cannot slip from the shoulders.
•
Put the switch (4) in position "I".
WARNING!
•
Use the unit only for the purposes described in par. "Description of the Product". Any other use
may cause injuries.
•
The backpack (3) shall be positioned in such a way that the 90% of its weight is supported by the
operator's waist instead of by his back.
•
The braces (6) shall be used to improve the weight balancing (10%).
5.2
Stopping the unit
Put the switch (4) in position "O".

Battery re-charging
