6. MAINTENANCE
6.1 Routine maintenance
WARNING!
Before any routine maintenance operations, disconnect the battery set by means of the switch (4)
(position 0).
All maintenance operations which are not describe in this manual shall only be carried out by
Authorized Service Points.
6.1.1 Storing the unit and maintaining its battery set
Before storing the unit for a prolonged period:
• Charge the battery set (2) up.
• Every 90 days repeat a complete battery (2) charge cycle.
• Store the unit in a dry place inside its case. Do not leave it under the rain.
WARNING!
If a battery recharge cycle is not carried out every 90 days, the battery set (2) gets definitely damaged
(see par. 6.1.1).
6.2
Special maintenance
WARNING!

Any maintenance operations which have not been dealt with in this manual shall be carried out by
an Authorized Service Point of the Manufacturer.
•
These operations shall be carried out keeping the shear clamped in a vice and wearing heavy-duty
protective gloves.
Extraordinary maintenance operations must be performed by a mechanical maintenance
technician or an electrical / electronic one.
7. DISMANTLING THE MACHINE WHEN NO LONGER USED
7.1
Disposal of exhaust materials
At the end of its working life, the tool has to be dismantled.
The tool components shall be divided in order to dispose of them according to the materials they are
made of (batteries, metal, plastic, etc) and in compliance with the regulations of the Country where the
tool was used.
There are specific regulations in every Country as for the disposal of these materials and the
environment protection.
The Customer is required to be knowledgeable in the Laws in force in his own Country and to operate
only while complying with these regulations, according to the indications in the product technical
charts, which may be obtained from the Manufacturer.

REMEDY
•
Keep the switch (4) pressed for more
than 1 seconds.
