The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accor-
dance with a standardized test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool
with another.

The given vibration emission level may be used for the initial estimation of the real exposure.

The vibration emission level will vary because of the ways in which a power tool can be used
and may increase above the level given in this information sheet.

Try to keep the exposure as low as possible. To reduce the vibration emission level
the user should wear working-gloves and use the machine for limited time. All parts of
working cycles have to be considered ( including the time the power tool is switched
off, and the time, when the power tool is running under no-load condition).
Preparation and Set-Up for Operation
Vacuum Attachment (fig. 4)
The compass saw package includes an adapter for a vacuum.
•
Insert the adapter (4) into the provided opening in the machine's housing until it catches,
then lock it by turning it clockwise.
•
Always attach a vacuum when working with the compass saw.
Description of Operating Controls
1) Inserting the Saw Blades / Changing Implements
•
Before changing the saw blade, always unplug the power cord!
•
Use only sharp, intact saw blades. Chipped or bent saw blades are not to be used.
•
In order to insert the blade, loosen the screws on the saw blade holder using the provided
hex key (7).
•
Insert the saw blade (8) with the toothing facing forwards into the holder. Make sure that the
saw blade is properly placed in the pressure roll's (10) groove.
•
Screw both screws tight again in order to fasten the saw blade.
•
Use only universal saw blades with the following shaft type:

After making a few cuts, unplug the power cord and check once more that the saw blade is
tightly set in the holder.
